On the second week of September Columbine High School will have their Homecoming celebrations at their school, it will begin on Monday September 11th. . To start the week they have certain spirit days with each day. Say for example Monday might be a pajama day, regardless, the friday of that week is always Columbine spirit day.
On that spirit day most students show off their pride by wearing columbine attire, or their class shirts. They organize by classes in the gymnasium, and prepare for a high energy football game and the dance the following day. The football game will be against Bear Creek High School, which considering the Columbine football record means that they will probably beat them.
Following the game there is a dance at the school on the Saturday after the game. Attendance for the dance is $15 and all kids from all classes are invited. The dance starts at 8 pm. It will have a private DJ and will have drinks and food.
Tickets cost $20 in advance to the dance and $25 at the door Saturday night. Students are allowed to bring a guest if they fill out a school guest form
